Why should I join a credit union?
Most people think that credit unions are the same thing as any other financial institution. However, credit unions have philosophies that set them apart.

For example, credit unions are member owned cooperatives. They exist solely to provide their members with a safe, convenient place to save, and to obtain loans at reasonable rates. Based on this ownership/membership philosophy, you will receive friendly, personal service at Citco.

Credit unions are not-for-profit. Earnings are returned to our members in the form of lower rates on loans, higher returns on savings, and better services at reduced or no cost.

Credit unions are volunteer driven. Our policys are set by credit union members elected to boards and committees by all credit union members. These board and committee members are not paid. They volunteer to insure that Citco meets the wants and needs of our members.
